Generation Magazine 2010-2011 Advertising Rates
Five thousand copies of Generation Magazine are circulated on all three UB campuses and throughout the surrounding Buffalo area every two weeks when classes are in session. Generation Magazine, a comprehensive features magazine with content including news, arts, living, sports and opinion, is a free publication for all UB students and community members. Campus-wide surveys have shown that about three people peruse each printed copy of a student publication, meaning that about 15,000 people will read each issue of Generation.

Advertising Discount Programs |
Cumulative Discount: If an advertiser buys ads for three or more issues, the cost of advertising will be discounted by a certain percentage (detailed on the chart to the right). |

| Prepaid Ad Discount: Advertisers who provide prepayments for their advertising contracts will receive a 5 percent discount on the rate. Payment must be received by 4 p.m. on the Thursday before the publication date. | ||||||||||

| Photo Ready Ad Discount: Advertisers who submit photo ready ads, which do not require any additions or alterations, will receive a 5 percent discount off the cost of their advertising rate. Ads that require additions or alterations will not be given photo ready discounts.
Online Ad Discount: Advertisers who choose to add a rotating online (banner and column) ad to their print advertising contract will receive a percent discount off the price of the online ad. Cumulative, photo ready and prepaid discounts do not apply to online ad costs. |

Advertising Regulations and Policies Clients may cancel a contract no later than nine days before the contract begins. All cancelled contracts are subject to a $10 charge. Clients will be held responsible for a $20 charge for all returned checks. All credit due to error will be determined by the publisher (Sub-Board I, Inc. – 716.645.2954). Accounts inactive for one full year must reapply for credit. All Canadian clients must pay in American funds and are required to prepay the entire contract. Generation Magazine reserves the right to reject any advertising, especially if it is believed to be false, misleading, offensive or potentially harmful to readers or potential clients. If Generation Magazine fails to publish, this agreement shall be cancelled without further obligation to either party. In the event of unfulfilled agreements, all volume discounts, inclusive and future will no longer apply. Cumulative Display Discount Policy: Agreements must specify the issues for which ALL advertisements will appear. If subsequent issues are not specified, the discount will not be applied until those issues are specified. |
